When was the last time you went to a concert since the pandemic?
Since the reopening of the Malaysian borders to allow for the COVID-19 recovery, concerts and festivals are now resurfacing, scratching the Malaysian audience’s itch to meet their favourite celebrities and have a good time.
Now, with all these concerts in Malaysia to look forward to, we can finally see our favourite artists in the flesh instead of screens!

1. Jackson Wang: MAGICMAN World Tour 2022-2023

Ahgases, this is your year! Even though Jackson just recently graced the stage at the Good Vibes Weekender Festival in September, Team Wang has announced great news for you – his solo concert in Kuala Lumpur this December!
After his visit to the mamak and sharing a photo drinking Milo Dinosaur that made fans go crazy, we can expect another round of his cheekiness as he returns, but in his concert, we can expect something bigger and better through the Magic Man world tour!
In his social media announcement, he wrote, “Finally. (This is) the 1st time in my life (that) I get to properly tour now. #MAGICMAN is coming. See you there. I promise it’s different.”

2. Justin Bieber: Justice World Tour

After the announcement of Justin Bieber’s concert in Malaysia, everyone went wild – with tickets sold out within minutes! Justin’s concert in Malaysia, which was originally scheduled for October, was then unfortunately put on hold due to his health issues.
Justin took to social media to announce his battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare condition that resulted in partial facial paralysis right before the start of his performance in Toronto.
Event organizer PR Worldwide published a statement on Twitter regarding his tour, wishing Justin a speedy recovery and says that “the tour is set to continue as scheduled.”
To all Beliebers out there, don’t lose hope and stay tuned for any updates regarding the tour.

3. Super Junior World Tour 2022 – Super Show 9: Road
Calling all E.L.F.s! Super Junior is stopping by Malaysia for their world tour, the Super Show 9: Road in Bukit Jalil!
Malaysian E.L.F.s have been eagerly waiting for an official date for Super Junior’s Malaysia stop since members Eunhyuk and Donghae announced it in a podcast show in July 2 years ago, only to be let down due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, Malaysian fans can now rejoice and brightly light up the Axiata Arena with the fandom’s signature colour, Sapphire Blue to celebrate their return since their last concert.
Once again, they will warm E.L.F.’s hearts with their melodic songs and exciting performances.

4. Calum Scott: ‘Bridges’ World Tour 2022

British singer-songwriter Calum Scott will be making his comeback in Malaysia at the Plenary Hall in KLCC!
His Bridges Asia Tour will kick off in Tokyo, Japan on Oct 18 before he heads over to other locations including Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta and Singapore, and of course, Kuala Lumpur.
Scott: “I am coming back with my band to play the songs that people discovered me on, as well as new songs from my second album which I would say is my best and most personal work yet — I can’t wait to see you there.”

5. Russ: The Journey is Everything World Tour

Atlanta-based rapper, singer and producer Russ is returning to Malaysia for his ‘The Journey Is Everything’ world tour, announced by Good Vibes Festival (GVF)!
Supported by Bugus, Russ will be performing at Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach this November.
Russ has performed in Malaysia for the Good Vibes Festival 2019 in Genting Highlands and shared his experience here through an Instagram post: “My first time in Malaysia and it was one of the most amazing shows ever. Thank you for the love and memories!!!”

6. LANY: A November To Remember 2022

American pop rock band LANY is back to entertain music fans at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil!
The Los Angeles band will be kicking off the Asian leg of its A November To Remember Tour, with other Southeast Asian stops in Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok and Singapore.
This tour keeps the momentum of the group’s gg bb xx fall 2021 tour and the release of its fourth studio album, gg bb xx, in September 2021.

7. Boy Pablo: Asia Tour 2022

Chilean-Norwegian singer-songwriter Boy Pablo has announced their Asian tour kicking off in November, with a stop in Kuala Lumpur to entertain Malaysian fans!
He announced his tour on social media, confirming that he will perform in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Jakarta.
Boy Pablo’s debut studio album, Wachito Rico was released in October 2020, and gained attention in late 2017 after the music video for the song “Everytime” gained international popularity.

8. Alec Benjamin: The (Un)Commentary Tour

Alec Benjamin announced his Asia tour for the “The (Un)Commentary Tour”, alongside his tour of the US and Canada!
His big break came with the release of his 2018 mixtape “Narrated For You”, which features his top hits “Let Me Down Slowly” and “If We Had Each Other”. On 15th April this year, he debuted his second studio album “(Un)Commentary”, and will begin to kick off his tour in the Americas before landing in Asia.
Malaysian fans will be serenaded by his beautifully-written and soulful pop ballads about love and heartbreak this November.
