4. How to Get to the Good Vibes Festival Venue
1. Best Option – By car
Driving to Sepang International Circuit is a popular choice, but it can be tricky. During a grand prix weekend, the area tends to get crowded, and finding parking can be a challenge due to limited space. Consider carpooling or bringing others with you to maximize parking efficiency and avoid long walks to the parking area.
2. Convenient Option – By Grab
Open the Grab app, set Sepang International Circuit as your destination, and you’re good to go. It’s the easiest option, but keep in mind that you might have to wait for a ride home due to the high demand for Grab services.
3. Last Resort – By taxi
We recommend taking a taxi to KLCC or other central areas and then hailing another cab to take you to the circuit. This saves you the hassle of convincing drivers to go directly to the festival grounds, which is approximately 50 km away from KL.
5. What To Bring to Good Vibes Festival
Not sure what necessities to bring? Use our handy checklist below:
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Hand-held fan
- Comfortable clothes
- Powerbank
- Bottle
- Cap
- Towel
- Bandages
6. Things To Remember
Tip #1: Bring a mat
If you want to have a picnic, bring a mat! There will be plenty of space in the concert grounds for you to relax and enjoy your meal.
Plus, there’s plenty of food options at the venue, including vegan!
Tip #2: Have ample storage on your phone
Skip the DSLRs and rely on your trusty smartphone!
It can capture good enough photos and is much more convenient to carry around. Plus, it easily fits in your pocket.
Compact cameras and disposable film cameras are allowed too, as long as you can keep them safe.
Tip #3: Bring an umbrella
You never know when it might rain in Malaysia.
Forget a raincoat, but rather opt for a small umbrella that you can attach to your belt loops. It’s handy for both sunny and rainy moments, and much more comfortable than wearing a jacket.
Tip #4: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes
Don’t underestimate wearing the right shoes for a festival. Even better, make sure to wear shoes that can withstand rain.
Wear your most comfortable top, shorts, leggings, or pants to move around with ease. Bring some extra clothing options just in case.
Tip #5: Bring a powerbank
You don’t need a large one unless you plan to share it with your friends. Opt for a power bank that’s compact enough to fit in your pocket and can charge your phone up to three times or more.
Miscellaneous Leave weapons and drugs at home. We don’t want to spoil the fun, but they won’t enhance the concert experience in any way. Instead, if you want to get noticed by people or Matt of The 1975, bring a poster as a creative way to stand out.
